Description |
Cigar box- four sides, top and bottom made of wood- light brown in color. Box bordered with paper in yellow, red green and gray leaf design. Top displays "Fischer's 5 cents Progress" and two banner like emblems with fabric drape under both- all in black color. Orange stamp has NRA & has picture of eagle (not a revenue stamp). Stamp is incomplete. Blue paper revenue stamp illegible. Bottom has "Factory #142 8 Dist. Ill. 50" and manufacturers statement. Also Union emblem "District of Missouri UNION MADE U.B. of C.& J. of A. Org. 1881 25 and Reg. May 14, 1903 25" Left side: "Fischer's Progress Tabacos Superiores" Right side: "Progress". Front: "Progress NRA Member We do our Part" with Eagle emblem and tax label. |
